The Skyline

It's not so simple.
The skyline of the city.
But it's marvelous.

Lights and silhouettes.
Glowing against the background.
Shining in the bay.

This is where it is.
The spot where it is pure joy.
Nothing else matters.

I take in the view.
I like to keep my distance.
I don't get too close.

I enjoy this perspective. I've never been to a large city, you see, but I've looked at pictures of them. Having lived my entire life in a small, rural community, cities look inviting, but frightening at the same time.

@Northguy1 Have u ever visited one, just to "try it out"?

@DavidT8899 I went to Minneapolis once, and I've been to Marshfield and Wausau a number of time, and to Green Bay once. I got lost in Rhinelander. Their traffic signs are not very well placed.

@Northguy1 Well, try to avoid New York and Los Angles-those cities have been mismanaged into hellhloes!

@DavidT8899 I've heard Portland and San Francisco have really devolved, too.

@Northguy1 To the point where the ultra-rich live like rings and everyone else is dirt poor.Theres no more middle class-just like a medieval society.
