I live in the mountains.

All around are mountains. They are not high like the Alps. They are old and worn down yet beautiful. They tell us that the Cambrian mountains and the Appalachian mountains were part of the same mountain range, separated now by continental drift.
The mountains of Wales are full of mystery. There are ancient stones where people lived long ago. It is a land of dragons. This time of year I often see baby dragons on my way to college. They are becoming more adventurous and find their way onto the road. They hiss at me and try to spit fire but they are not old enough. Quickly their mother calls them back. The dragons don't take our sheep. They know we care for the dragons and in return they teach the young dragons to look after our sheep. It's the way it has been for centuries.

We still have unicorns here in Yorkshire but you have to be very quite and smell nice to spot one x

@Barny52 Our British Isles are full of mystery. We just pretend to be modern! For a while we thought we could be part of Europe. We even built a tunnel. But we are islands shrouded in mystery. The Celts and the Picts, the Norse and the old Saxons, we are still here and we understand.

@Blodyn pity we couldn’t make being part of Europe work for us but Farage put the skids on that one, it’s a wonderful place we live in we are very lucky x

@Barny52 I was just old enough to vote and I voted to stay. I was born European and still have a European passport. Being European doesn't mean throwing away our culture.

@Blodyn i remember the first referendum in 70s and I wanted to be part of a united Europe like a United States, its a pity we didn’t have emp s who would have made it work from the inside but we had Farages lot who never used their vote once in the eu parliament !

@Barny52 I have no idea what went on but I was born European and find it hard to have my citizenship removed.

@Blodyn i feel the same,, the out brigade mostly wanted boarded control, if our European members of parliament had worked at that over the years we may have had that and could of stayed in but the ukip party with Farage never voted in eu parliament just so it couldn’t work, they got paid by us and just made trouble!

@Barny52 It's a shame. But it will not stop me being a young European! I shall go to Paris this summer. Love the cafes along the Rue Saint Jacques.
