Have you ever found a town depressing?

Niagara Fallsa few blocks back from the tourist area.

Ilkeston in Derbyshire. I found it very creepy one Sunday afternoon. I walked away from it as quickly as I could, all the way to Nottingham. No other place has left me cold.
