The desert is arguably even more treacherous during the colder seasons

The extreme temperature swings that go from blazing hot during the day to freezing cold at night easily make for more ways for one to succumb to the elements out here. My man and I are already finding ourselves having to bundle up at night. When we go out and about, it's so chilly, you want bring a coat or something to shield you from the cold, but then it gets hot again so fast, it can leave one confused as to what's weather-appropriate attire. That's part of the reason why I prefer summertime. Sure, it's even hotter by then but at least it's consistent and you don't have to worry about freezing at night.

I went running at 5am this morning and I was slipping on the frost that stuck to the sidewalk overnight, so I hear where you're coming from! 😁
