Beautiful. I read a series of books years ago that took place there. I think it was James Herriot. The Yorkshire veterinarian. I’ve always wanted to go since then.

@lexiconic no way!!!!!! I have to find that! I loved those books. I still have each of them and read them when I want to escape. Such touching stories.
@Max41 It's England and we are not very lucky in the climate department Its very rare when we have a couple of days together without rain Also the building are mainly listed ancient monuments and thats the way they built them in those days Its a "period thing" i think
@lexiconic That is nice it is a period thing , which is also earlier method to save buildings . It is good if there rains much , if it helps to the agriculture in the nearby places . There are not many rivers in england to cater to the huge population .
@DearAmbellina2113 your scenery also is very beautiful -- I visited Arizona many years ago, and spent much of my time there in the desert. Magical landscape. I yearn to return one day
