Why do some people carry guns in safe places?

We're in the white suburbs yo. Worst thing they've ever seen was a neighbor that didn't wave back or something (jk)

Seriously though, picture a bald white man with a gun running at your car. It takes some real nerves not to pedal-to-metal right there but this mans just gave me back my card I left at a Wendy's drive through

My only thought the entire time was why the hell this mans was waggling a tooly out in the dark of night chasin a brotha like that. "HEY! YOU! STOP"
You can't be doing that to people 😂

I mean, nothing happened but I don't wanna become desensitized to bald white men running at me with a gun. It MEANS something down here in the south 😂

My cousin does it. I think lot of people start attaching self esteem to carrying their guns. It's difficult habit to break if their ego is very much centered around asserting their power.

I have two rifles. I only get one out if I am staying in the mountain or to fire warning shots. I hope it stays that way.

Never took weapons to populated places.

We mainly have wolves. There were wackos couple times, ones that wanted to use my storage rooms thinking there is no one around. It is large property and even though most days I have security, there are cameras and everything, in certain seasons it is practically empty.

What is crazier is that the army base isn't so far. So if I fire warning, I get people to help around. It didn't really deter the wackos, maybe they didn't think things through.

I am not comfortable with my rifles and I don't think I will ever be.

I am often unable to respond to people who flaunt their rifles and guns online, not knowing what to make of it and I get numb.

Whereas I like swords and knives and other medieval means.

@Miram I'd honestly avoid it and be cautious. Anyone who makes light of killing or the potential to fo so really plays with sinister thoughts in their head. It's not good to be a threat

And tbh, I mess with that heavy. So, would you say pirates are awesome? 😏
