Update on our boy
He is awake and he drank some apple juice and eat some ice chips. Joel is holding close and talking to him softly in Spanish. We are waiting for them to do blood work and then we can go home. Poor little guy his worst fear. We keep telling them soon it will be over.
The surgeon said the surgery went better than expected. So they are hoping they will not be as much bruising and swelling.
Pain pills are an issue because of his past kidney struggles so we are going to give him one pain pill tonight when he goes to bed and then Tylenol and ice tomorrow. Of course if he needs it we will give him the pain pills but we're going to try to avoid them as much as possible.
They even let grandma and his brother and sister in to see him for a little bit and they gave him some gifts and they are going home to get things ready for him. I have no idea what tiny tornado is going to do LOL
