Very busy start to the day
First I had to get our oldest daughter for her appointment then got her back to school. Next I had to get our oldest boy for his appointment. I usually do a better job scheduling them so I can either do it on different days or take both kids at the same time but this foot doctor squeezed Us in this week so I really couldn't be too picky.
And unfortunately we did not get the best news he did well at the appointment and they did the x-rays but the X-ray showed that he has deformities in the bones in his left foot that are causing some of the issues and they want to do surgery and reset the bones correctly. Surgery is the last thing we wanted to hear for him right now. He's already still so scared from the last time he was in the hospital.
So we're going to have an appointment with the doctor with me Joel and his mother and talk about what our options are. Want him to continue to wear the afo on his right foot since it's not causing any issues and they don't want his foot to digress from the progress he's made.
So this was definitely not the news that I wanted to hear today.
Joel and I have our support group and then we're going to have deli sandwiches and pasta salad for dinner and play outside it might be the last nice day this week they're talking about snow this weekend.
