Post-it notes
So every morning I put a list of post-it notes on the refrigerator of things that I need to do. Once I do those things I take off the post-it note and I throw them away. I always save one for last.
It says Big Brothers shake.
A couple months ago the doctors noticed that our oldest boy is not gaining weight and is actually losing a little bit so he wants him to start drinking protein shakes once a day and then he upped to twice a day.
Well our oldest boy isn't a fan of them. I'm not sure why because he really likes chocolate milk but he does not like the shakes.
So when I'm down to the one Post-It note I walk over to him and and I quickly stick the posters note on his shirt.
He always starts laughing and he tries to run away from me. It turns into a little game of chase until I finally catch him pick him up and put them on the counter.
I jokingly say that all I have one more Post-It note to finish before I can go to work and I just don't know where it is. I always pretend to look around the refrigerator counter and floors for it.
He again starts laughing and then he'll pull it off of himself and show it to me and say it's on me but Daddy.
And then I say well you know what we have to do don't you.
Do I have to Daddy.
Well it's on the post-it note so we have to finish it.
He always reluctantly agrees.
I get out our two protein protein shakes and open his and hand it to him and then I get one for me.
They usually takes him anywhere from a minute to 5 minutes to finish the shake.
Once he finally finishes the shake I take the post-it note from his hand and I crumble it up and throw it in the trash.
He always gets excited and cheers and I give him a hug and help him down off the counter.
