PT appointment did not go well
We were both exciting this but it's still breaks my heart.
Our oldest boy needs AOF's. They came in today and we took him to make sure they fit him. We got him really cool socks with Nintendo characters on them. The AOF'S themselves have Mario and Zelda on them. So they put them on him and we stood him up. He took one step sat down closed his eyes and held his blanket very close.
Joel and I both tried our best to get him to stand but he wouldn't move. We told him about the new game we got him Mario baseball and that got him to open his eyes.
Joel again tried to get him to stand.
I guess he decided he didn't care about the game enough because he again closed his eyes.
We knew he wasn't going to like them and know it's going to take time.
The PT said to keep putting them on him every day for a few minutes and keep encouraging him to walk. So we talked with the pt for about 10 more minutes and him and Joel came up with a schedule for this.
Once we we're done we took the AOF'S off and he finally opened his eyes and stood up.
So like I said it didn't go well but at least he let us put them on and he didn't try and take them off
One step at a time.
