Is this normal? I think I'm allergic to dogs.
Is it normal to be around a dog and start having sinus problems?
I currently have a room in my one-bedroom apartment because they have no place to stay.
The first night that I was around her service dog (was even encouraged to pick the dog up), my sinuses started acting up; my nose had started feeling stuffy. The next day, my nose started to run. 3 days in, and my eyes were iching like crazy. They are itchy now and I am trying to stop myself from rubbing them. Eye drops is not helping one bit.
Before anyone says that it was because of the change of seasons, it's not. My seasonal (and chronic) sinuses had just cleared up (temporarily) before my friend, who had no else to go to, started staying with me.
Also, when my seasonal sinuses happens, my nose only runs twice in a day, while having this allegedly dog allergy, makes my nose run 24/7 and when it's not running, it's stopped up. And during my chronic sinuses, my eyes had never itched so badly.
I'm also coughing with this allergy.
