I hope you are eating when you take Advil. When I had a gallstone attack, I was doing the same thing taking Advil and Tylenol due to excruciating pain but I was not making sure I was eating when I took the advil. I ended up with an ulcer and ulcers are just as painful as gallstone attacks.

@BLP11520 Advil is very hard on the stomach and will cause ulcers if taken repeatedly without food which is what happened to me because my gallstone attacks seemed to always hit me in the middle of the night and all I wanted was relief from the pain. I learned a couple saltines is not enough to help protect your stomach lining so be careful and please eat when you take them.

Thank you, I made the mistake of coffee and Advil on an empty stomach
