Social media has become cooperative with entities like ICE, and that doesn't give options, it supplies ammunition to their efforts to identify and track people.
ICE is not targeting only immigrants, they are also targeting citizens, who were born and raised here, and imprisoning and/or killing people.
My post is only informing of my reluctance/refusal to give what isn't necessary to give to anyone, especially ICE, or whatever else Trump comes up with.
No laws broken, no immigration issues, no threats towards anyone, and that describes most of us here in our country.
Trump just wants control, and doesn't care how he goes about that, nor whose lives are destroyed.

@Snake2026 I don't think Trump is interested in small sites like SW, but sharing information in general is a risk indeed. But it's optional, so no need to worry. Just don't partake in features you're uncomfortable with. 🤷🏻
@NerdyPotato why don't I see more people standing up?
I get it, that's optional here, I'm just saying that if more people stood up and made it clear that they won't put up with it.........
I think it has more to do with people not wanting to see what we are becoming, which is the complete opposite of who we were before this regime came around.
ICE is a symptom, not the entire disease.
Also, thank you for listening, and seeing where I'm coming from.

@Snake2026 plenty of people are standing up against ICE, mass surveillance and Trump policies in general. I think people aren't standing up against this SW feature because it has nothing to do with any of that and doesn't impact anyone if simply ignored.
