. I was in great shape here around mid 50s. Still in ok shape but cycle more. Here was just calisthenics the most. And or lots of reps. Not too heavy on the weight/s. 300 press ups. 100 pull ups daily around time of this pic. Just nothing special but natural and functional strength. Thats key.
@TomSimulation It honestly was just consistency. High reps. Lower weight. Body strength combination and not eating too much. I got quite ripped in my 50s 😄. Im still fit for my age but not upper body strength of then. But it was only few years ago. I like other forms now. But go for it natural. Easy to get big and full of watery muscle with roids. We are what we are and in reality we can only ever try to be the best versions of ourselves. I got quite chubby at one point in life but always fit when young and then older. Keep going mate. You are young. Steady does it. But work hard when you do. 5 weeks on. 1 week off. Plus weekends off. You.ll get in great shape if you do stretching etc after workouts too. Muscles get small and tight without stretching. Good luck 👍
@Softy1 Thank you. In not as muscular now but to get to that state is easy if you are a little hard on getting busy eating right and starting slowly. 🙂
@Perry1968 I used to be muscular but I had a stroke at 45. I recovered with nerve damage to my right side my coordination is off a bit and later I detached my right tricep. The surgery left my tricep up high.
