Earl "Buddy" Carter (R-GA) has proposed that Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce tie the knot in the beautiful city of Savannah, Georgia. He even suggested the venue - Forsyth Park, by the fountain, a location where weddings are held frequently.
Has Congressman Carter been to the Forsyth Park fountain recently? It is a beautiful spot. This is how it looked until a few weeks ago.
This is how it looks now, with the fountain removed for the first major maintenance since 1988.
Something tells me the happy couple might not want that as a backdrop. When was the last time the esteemed congressman visited Forsyth Park, the crown jewel of his district? Probably not since 1988, if ever. He's too busy avoiding his constituents while he prepares for the primary bloodbath to unseat our Senator, Jon Ossoff (D-GA).
