@SinlessOnslaught because it's the same in Farsi, Arabic, Urdu, Somali etc. Every Muslim or person from a majority Muslim country can read that because it's how you greet each other.

@SinlessOnslaught I'd say Arabic and Urdu because you have 25 countries that speak Arabic and Urdu is spoken in a country that has the 5th biggest population in the world. Plus if you understand Urdu you'll understand Hindi which is spoken in the second most populated country.

@JustGoneNow I have a Danish friend who claimed that Iceland is probably the furthest in similarity as far as culture and language goes. She compared Iceland to Russia.

@HijabaDabbaDoo We are the more pure language, actually. Icelandic is the one Nordic language that’s the closest to true old Norse (what we are all based on.) Because of our relative isolation, we didn’t have the same renaissance of language that the other Nordic languages did. They don’t remember their roots, but we do. They are the deviants. Danes can’t even pronounce the Norwegian words correctly and is why no one else can understand them. I can read Norwegian, Swedish, and Danish. But I can only speak Norwegian and Swedish because Danes fuck up all the words. Yeah, none of them understand my language unless they are taught. Because they’ve lost what they were to start.
