That's $5.20 a gallon. Diesel is about $4.20 here in Missouri, so I can certain see that price in other places.

And the fuel companies are reporting record profits for another quarter, no doubt.

At least the drivers and their employers are not paying. Their companies will try to absorb what rises they can but ultimately it is their customers - which can include you and I albeit in different countries - who pay for it.
