I Found An Old Photograph

Some very very old pictures of relatives taken before World war II. Some dating back to around 1910.

Never knew her yet she lived to over 90. Grandmother on my father's side.

My grandfather

Grandmother and grandfather and my father and three uncles. Dad was the second from the right.

Grandmother, grandfather, my father and his younger brother.

Grandmother with one of her brothers upper left, grandfather with one of his brothers, right.

One of my uncles and his wife, never knew which one.

Same uncle and wife with grandmother to the left, yet with some photo identification of location. Czechoslovakia.

Note the photo is a glossy black and white photo with white edges, a newer style photo.

@Vivaci Thank you. Other than my father I never knew any of them. Not even any of my uncles.
@DeWayfarer Oh that's sad! I wish you try to get in touch with them now.

@Vivaci I am on ancestry.com. Yet all of the rest are all around the world.
@DeWayfarer True! I wish you find that link ....some person who is in touch with them. I used to have a distant relative on my father's side who used to visit us twice a year and who knew every person in my dad's and mom's family tree going back n forth three generations. 👀

@Vivaci I wish I could as well. Kind of might be the only one that still has an idea where certain things are located. Family heirlooms of a kind.
@DeWayfarer Hmmm....note it down in a diary or online blog before you forget it. Share it with your kids and grandkids. 🤗

@Vivaci Thanks for your concern. I have no kids and my half brother and half sister could care less. Not their father.
@DeWayfarer Well, let's hope you find an address or something that can connect you to your distant family....I'll pray for you! 😌🌹

@Vivaci Thank you. I think it would take a miracle though.

Dad tried once, and did manage to get a hold of grandmother. Yet only once. She was afraid of the communists and hid her identity from them. She was very old then in her 90's.

She was the only one he managed to get a hold of though.

@Vivaci BTW Most of this is on ancestry.com including her identity. So it is kind of documented.
@DeWayfarer Hmm....I believe in miracles and I hope you get to see one soon. 😌
