Common Variety of a Garden Spider there is a species name for her, I have it somewhere on here. Have to look through my files for it.. Ah yes here it is.. The spider species Argiope aurantia is commonly known as the yellow garden spider, black and yellow garden spider, golden garden spider, writing spider, corn spider, or McKinley spider.. Anyway this photo was taken on August 09 2017 with a Canon EOS 40D Fstop 1.4, 1/60 sec. ISO 100 using a 50mm Olympus Zuiko lens.
