The use of the term "the city" is interesting. To us in the greater New York City means NY City.

It always pays to look up because you can see so many interesting things. I always stand still though, because falling into drains or running into folk only interested in their phones can be distracting.

i'm going to be in the city tomorrow...i'll try and remember to take some pics. downtown is probably gonna be nuts because it's fireworks night at english bay which attracts thousands and there's a soccer game i'll be going to with an extra 20k coming for that...there will be liquor consumed to ease the crowd anxiety 😛
