@HumanEarth A few years ago, it was decided that a 1960's era bus station was to be closed and demolished to make way for a new, state of the art bus station.
Seemingly overnight, a caravan appeared on the roof in a highly visible spot and a protestor moved in - I always wondered how on earth they got this caravan up there... especially when no one saw the crane.
@Blondily I love old fashion photography. I even have cameras so old that don't even use film. You have to make you have make your own negatives with glass plates and chemicals
Samples from the internet (Cause it's Sunday and I'm not going in my darkroom and digging for stuff I don't use a lot of. So it's the internet for samples. I hope you don't mind)
I have a few cameras like these as well. They are called plate cameras and used glass plates for film.
@HumanEarth Thanks for showing me. I luv old stuff!!!! Ive always thought it would be fun to dress up like they did in the 1800s and have a pic taken with an old canera. So cool!!!
@HootyTheNightOwl See that's the problems with digital photography. You loose a lot of real art, talent and skill that went into making photographs the old fashion way
@Blondily If I was at the other computer I would show photographs of the dresses. As they are now and photos of my great grandmother mother wearing the same dresses. Well two photographs, back then it was super expensive to have your photograph taken
@HumanEarth Lol, when you talk about the other farm, it reminds me of our Politics and how our MP's refer to the House of Lords as "The Other Place"... 🤣🤣🤣
