So what do you do with it once all the shoots have shot up and bloomed? I got one a month or two ago that was sold simply as a wax-covered bulb. No watering required! I am told that once all the shoots have shot up and bloomed, I can take off the wax and put it in a pot with some dirt, water it and hopefully it will put out roots. But what will happen? Does it have a dormant period?
@Poppies yrs you can keep it alive and it will bloom next year if done correctly. Google it and follow the directions. I feel like a murderer, we have no place to put it out but the ground after it stops flowering
