Lens advice / review

Do any SW chums have any experience of the Tamron SP 70-300mm f/4-5.6 Di VC USD lens? I've just bought one and it's due to arrive next week. I shoot a Nikon D7100 and I'm looking to use it on a trip to an erupting volcano in Iceland early next year.

Anyone used this lens before? Saw a review online and the bloke said it was better than the equivalent Nikon lens

I don't have this exact lens, but I was given a Tamron 16-300mm f/3.5-6.3 Di II VC PZD lens for my old D7000, and it's my favorite lens. It's versatile and does a really nice job, and I actually do like it better than my Nikon lenses. I think you're gonna love it!

What do you use for wide angle? I have a Sigma 28mm for indoor shooting. I want a 21mm.
