Normally in this period of the year I'm tired of the season, but this year feels different. August was much more bearable than June and July. I wish it lasted longer.
I've been an autumn person for a long time. And I think it's partly because autumn has changed here in the Pacific northwest. When I was a kid, October meant solid rain, all the way up through Halloween, and your costume had better include an umbrella. But these days, October feels the way late September used to feel. I like it.
@LordShadowfire Autumn here in Venice in general is a synonym of floods.
Considering how unpredictable the weather has become, I'm hoping we won't switch from the worst drought of the last 500 years to the worst flooding now.
