dreading having to upgrade my computer

[c=7700B2]not only because i will be without a computer for a period and won't be online....but because i'm upgrading from windows 7 to windows 10 and i have an awful lot of files, media files and data to move to windows 10, plus the computer shop guy i go to, he is quite abrupt and 'to the point' sort of a man...so it's not easy for me to get across to him what i want doing with my computer....being without a computer will kill me and not being online for a while.
[/c]
[c=7700B2]i'm going to ask the computer shop man to clone my c drive and would it be possible to get a dual boot up so can have windows 7 and windows 10, both together.....but as i said he is quite blunt, abrupt and to the point to deal with, so not sure how i will get it across to him.[/c]
So you can do dule boots relatively easily, if you have a secondary hardrive in the machine that you can plug into when you want to access the other windows install. The annoying part is have to physically disconnect your drive and then plug in the other.

Is there any particular reason why you want a dule boot to keep 7?

@NeighFlowers i just have so much stuff on windows 7 that i don't want to lose, media files, chrome extensions and bookmarks etc and more...any ideas what to do?
@darkmere1983 You could get a external hard drive to back up all your personal files, folders, etc. As for crome extensions, I belive there's a way to save them to your google account so they appear on devices you log into.
