can you still do everything on windows 10 that you could do on windows 7

does windows 10 have all the same features? i'm soon gonna have to upgrade my computer from windows 7 to windows 10, i don't want windows 11 as i've heard terrible things about it...but on windows 10, can you still do all the same things you could with windows 7? does 10 have all the same features?

for instance, on windows 10 can you choose your own desktop wallpaper from your own pictures?

i would appreciate any information you know.

thanx.

Down load Zorin. A Linux OS. Looks and acts just like windows, with out all the crashes and hassels.

@Confined Only problem is Linux OS isn't really great for gaming. I tried it with cities skylines which natively installs in Linux. It ran worse in Linux mint (Sarah) than it did on Windows 7 Pro.

@twiigss im not a gamer. Use more for practical use. Yeah not good for gaming.

@Confined yeah. Linux is really good for typing up documents and getting on the Internet. But if you wanna play PC games, it's not the greatest.

This is what gets me. Linux has been around since 1993. In 30 years they haven't been able to get the OS gaming compatible. I see that they work heavily on the back end, but it's for nothing relatable to game compatibility.

Linux's other problem is that they have a million flavors. I would ask the Linux team, why do you need all that craziness? Just have 2 or 3 OS's then focus on gaming compatibility.

Someone on a forum told me to donate to Linux. So if I give them $1,000 they're going to suddenly focus on what I want?

Sorry I'm ranting about this, it's just that it amazes me in 30 years, 30 years, Linux has very poor gaming compatibility.
