If you sleep in your car are you supposed to crack open a window?

if your car has a vent no you dont have to, but you will fog up the windows from your body heat radiating out,
DeluxedEdition · 26-30, F
@WolfGirlwh0r3 you won’t get monoxide poisoning?
WolfGirlwh0r3 · 36-40, T
@DeluxedEdition humans make Dioxide, cars make monoxide.... and the monoxide only happens if you build up the leves of exhaust IE like running a hose into the car and taping the window sealed
NeoNeo · 46-50, M
Ac vents are enough to circulate air
DeluxedEdition · 26-30, F
@NeoNeo I know this is a dumb question but even if it’s heat?
NeoNeo · 46-50, M
@DeluxedEdition Oh if its a hot day then yes its wise to keep it open unless you're sleeping with car and ac on. In that case car shouldn't be in confined place
DeluxedEdition · 26-30, F
@NeoNeo mostly it’s not in a confined place. Usually I’m sleeping in my car parked outside

Thank you :)

if you have it running, carbon monoxide could hurt you.

Lol I usually do to keep humidity down .. I’m a heavy breather
MasterLee · 56-60, M
Only when driving

Is your car parked outside or in a garage?

If it’s outside, you should be fine. But cracking the window a smidge would be a safe bet.

Truckers sleep inside the cab of their trucks with no issues…even in winter.

You dont need to because cars have vents but it wont hurt to crack a window either
TexChik · F
Only if it’s running .
Montanaman · M
Yeah, otherwise you'll suffocate within your own Co2. 🥺🤪😆🤗🤗
DeluxedEdition · 26-30, F
The reason I ask is because I sleep in my car after work and on break sometimes and someone just got onto me for not having my windows cracked 🤡@Montanaman
Montanaman · M
@DeluxedEdition I have to imagine you have the engine on w/heat going, so yes, it would be unsafe with windows rolled up.
DeluxedEdition · 26-30, F
@Montanaman I’m glad I asked because I do this all the time and recently I had a strange feeling about it 😩
