is there an answer to this problem so i don't have to upgrade my computer

and have to go to all that trouble and ball ache.

i may have to upgrade to win 10 in january when i have the finances, right now i still have windows 7 and i would rather not upgrade at all as i like win 7.....but when i opened google chrome recently i got a message in the browser that

' ' to get google chrome updates in future you will have to update to windows 10 or later, this computers is using windows 7'.

so i'm worried i will have to upgrade to windows 10, but i'm hoping that i might not have to, that there's some way around this problem or i can carry on using the outdated version of google chrome?

I still have a laptop I bought from Wal-Mart yeeeaarrsss ago that has Windows 7 Home on it, and I mean, it works just fine.

I think I have Firefox installed on it for the browser.

Truthfully, I think these people are lazy. They'll support an OS for so long, and when a new one comes out, they can't be bothered to support the old OS. Personally, I think it's stupid to not support the old OS.

It's like these people don't realize that were not all rich. I don't have anywhere near a million bucks just sitting around the house. I for one can't afford a new computer. If this computer were to die tomorrow, I'm literally screwed. If my phone gets damaged, I'm screwed. Like seriously, I make money but it almost is all going elsewhere. I can't afford anything right now.

Screw these huge corporations. They've only got billions of dollars, why can't they fork out $1,200 for a computer for someone who needs it??

@Jungleman yea I'm doing pretty good 🙂

You can keep using the outdated versions of Chrome, however, keep in mind that there is some vulnerability risk without upgrading Chrome, or going to W10 or 11.

@BrewCityBarfly thanks for your thoughts.

Just stop using Google Chrome. Try Firefox or Vivaldi, they work on Win7 and later. They also work on 32 bit systems.
