also I hate how people love to use IDEs to program in python

Even if you look for courses on it one of the first things they do is tell you to install some IDE.

Ah, ok,we didn’t have an IDE. I had to run it on the machine. Was making an automated balancer. Had a couple stepper motors to control. It worked but was too slow. The computers were too outdated and they wouldnt update them. Only had 2 rs232 ports.

I don’t remember what an IDE is. Had a bit of e perience with Python programming but its been years. Did a lot more with Fortran, Basic, J, and FCL. C would have been nice but there was no training for it and it's not a compiled language.
