I Write Code For a Living [I Understand Binary Code]
And.. I'm not surprised to post I'm not great at it. I started learning Excel formulae about 10 years ago at uni, Googling and Googling and forcing things to work that really shouldn't. I took great pleasure in beating computers into submission.
Well, a recent project to improve a quoting template for the company I work for has finally taught me to break it down into small chunks and achieve each one individually. So begins the journey of functions and little subroutines (as SUBroutines are supposed to be). It feels nice to write a little chunk of code and have it work for once. I'm enjoying it.
Next up, I'll learn to write an add-in so they always have the latest version instead of chasing old versions around the place trying to fix them every time :)
