Looking for a list of PC games

Let me explain. You know when it's 1987 and you walk into the store and see 20 boxed PC games on the shelf, and you only have enough money to buy 1 game?

Or when Best Buy opened and you go in and see all the games on the shelf but you can only buy like 2 games, but then because time passes the next time you go there's different games on the shelf?

I guess just a list of DOS games by year would work, what I really would love is a picture of the shelf with all the games on.

It's always interested me in the games I couldn't buy, and it's just more things to do.
