XLibre: The Middle Finger to IBM That Could Save Linux
[media=https://youtu.be/rwTo6wvX768]
I will be totally unaffected by this shift as when I Rebuild my Linux box the current plan is to Use Gentoo because at bare minimum I want absolute control over every aspect of my system which is a massive demand but I want to be in complete and total control the way Apple is over their Hardware.
So in essence Wayland isn't ready but Wayland isn't ready because too much isn't ready for Wayland.
And I'm probably going to use XLibre to pass it through to SXWM https://github.com/uint23/sxwm
Make it even smaller than XFCE. Going to have to find a calculator app and learn how to Torrent on the command line and stuff but fuck yeah.
too many packages depend on X11 which is the whole problem they haven't been updated to prepare for Wayland.
