@Pretzel There is a site that offers Linux written specifically for chromebooks, Gallium OS if I recall, it worked flawlesly. I also loaded A lightweight Debian OS on it without any issues. It helps if you add additional memory, and you might need to change the BIOS.

@UnderLockDown Nice. My chromebook gets updates until next year - so I'll stick with it - and it has 8gb of ram so that's good :)
