Linux may be on to something

I'm still getting a legacy PC for win 7, but I think Linux can run on any modern PC. I think Linux also is way more versatile than it was in the beginning. I've used windows all my life and fear the change, but Microsoft has forced me into this with their forced crap like tpm snapshots, one drive, copilot etc. It feels like a federal wiretap. Linux is free too and with a couple of add ons ons I think native software can launch similar to windows. **** Windows 11, the ad obsessed most invasive crap is ever to exist.

I moved to Linux mint 3 weeks before win 10 support ended. My PC can't run win 11, I can't afford a new PC, and don't want to be tied into forced updates, copilot, being screenshotted every 5 minutes, nope.

The only thing I need to do is to get an AMD GPU but my case can't handle anything longer than 290mm. The AMD 9070 RX is 310mm so will have to look around at various cards to see what will fit.

Apparently, Linux works better with AMD than Nvidia, but when you ain't got the money....
