That usually means something’s tripping up the Windows/HP setup, often a corrupted install file, bad drive sector, or a BIOS/driver hiccup.
Try running HP’s hardware check (F2 on startup), make fresh install media from Microsoft’s site, and reset BIOS to defaults.
