Our current one is an HP so I want to stay in the Windows platform. What brand should we go with and what features should it have? She is a writer so there won't be any gaming.

@MarineBob They say because all she does is write that anything with a solid state hard drive is more than adequate. We have always used HP, but people say good things about Dell too. Should we try a different brand?
