If I clean up the insides of my laptop will it get smoother? The software I use for my art and other projects are getting too heavy.

It will reduce the heat retained in the laptop which will have a positive impact on performance. Idk if it will solve your specific issue but 5 years of not cleaning the insides is way too long

@deadgerbil A lot was always going on and I can't do it myself. I got lazy and kept postponing giving it to someone who can do it.
