Is the iPhone 14 any good?

There's been a lot of anger because the iphone 14 is basically exactly the same as the iphone 13. I imagine he asked for a 13 because of the bad press.

Get whichever one is cheaper.

Following the replies. I’m also in the market. (I currently have an 8, LOL). I usually buy one that’s a model or two before the latest to save some $. I’m not a power user.

Cost mostly, and regardless of which you buy, he'll use about 1/100th of its features. Go with cost.

I heard the 14 is $100 off at a few places for Black Friday.

iPhones are already outdated when they come out anyway, so one version earlier or later won't matter much.

They're both good phones and will still get iOS updates for a long time. Apple supports their phones much longer than Android based phones do.

The last one just released is the iPhone 15, but you can get a good deal on the 14 or 13 due to stock clearance.

I would get the 14 if you can swing it. It’s newer so it will last longer.
