Mansplaining

What does this mean? Google says a man explaining something to a woman in a condescending way. So what if its a woman explaining something in a condescending way? Do we say womansplaining? Why is it just for men? Just curious

@ShadowWolf i was on a fb group and saw it being thrown around and i was like damn id like to use that on a few people i know but unfortunately theyre women and its specifically for men. Dang

@DarkSideoftheMoon Haha. Don't worry. Men have had to counter the current trends and we have plenty of terminology for women. Equality goes both ways :)

@ShadowWolf i have had women patronise me and speak down to me when trying to show off and its so annoying like they think im stupid and dont pick up on it too. Like super snobby and showoffy. They always have to compete with everything. Like they have to feel superior all the time. Whats that called?!? I hate that 😒

@DarkSideoftheMoon That's just the nature of the female gender. To one up each other. No term needs to be coined for that ;)
