What does this mean? Google says a man explaining something to a woman in a condescending way. So what if its a woman explaining something in a condescending way? Do we say womansplaining? Why is it just for men? Just curious

Men do it way more often, are more condescending, have a tendency to talk over you (with their louder voices), and often are belittling or use "cutesy" words in reference to yourself as if you're incapable
@WaryWitchWandering i feel like ive come across more women who speak to me in a condescending way but i also spend more time around women so that probably has a lot to do with it.
@V00doo both genders have their things. I feel like personally men always want something from me and women are catty or backstabbing. Women have been more condescending toward me and men are more blunt and rude. Thats just my experience though. But i have good life long friendships with men and women also. Good people are difficult to find regardless i think
