Whether it's a laptop or desktop PC, what is the operating system you use?

Ever since microsoft locked long time users out, I've since moved on and am learning a whole new system with Linux Mint. If all you do on the computer is get on the internet, or type a few things up in word or notepad on Windows, you honestly don't even need Windows anymore. You can do all of those things on Linux Mint!!

@Persephonee Oh I hear ya!! And to find out that, for the most part the things I do, I don't even need Windows anymore!! I was surprised at how my devices all worked without me having to install any drivers!!! I was beyond shocked. And what's nice is, I grew up using MS-DOS so the terminal in Linux is extremely familiar to me, and so I've been learning not only the terminal way to do things but also learning the same method through the GUI.

@Persephonee I did find a way to install windows without having to log in to a MS account which gave me some independence, but Fedora lets me do all I need without having to use terminal that often.

@Maturebate I've noticed with Linux Mint, you can do things in the terminal, and you can do those same things in the GUI. Like making a program executable. I like having the knowledge of being able to do it both ways, but will typically do tasks with the GUI over terminal.
