have loads of media files to back up on my computer

ive backed up virtually all my media files to my ext drive, pictures and videos etc, however, i've recently downloaded 2,000 more pictures and a hundred video files and need to back up again to my ext drive, but feel lazy and can't be bothered right now...however, i would be sorry if my windows computer were to suddenly crash, which it did on my old computer over a decade ago and i lost everything....so if this computer did the same, i'd be fucked and lose all those recent downloaded files...but where do i start?

wish there was an easier -- quicker way to back up all those files than the laborious ' copy & paste '.

I'm the same. I was supposed to move a lot of documents that are on my laptop to my smartphone, but I always procrastinate...
But you know what, I better do it now before it's too late!

@within in similar situation.. maybe i'll do it tomorrow now, it's just a case of applying myself and setting the time to do it, because as i said id be sorry if my computer crashed and i lost them.. regards.

@durinsBane1983 I know, I hate to do it too! Last time I updated my mp3 player and tablet with the new files was two months ago, because I always prioritise my smartphone. During these two month I've saved so many things on my laptop! I've been awake all night so I updated them, but I'll be at work in 3 hours.

@within you're welcome, wish you all the luck, sounds like we both love our computers, i'd be lost without my computer as i don't really watch much mainstream tv now.
