what should you do and what does this mean when a tab in chrome crashes, and says ' not enough memory to open the page'

it's only really started to happen recently on my windows desktop computer, just before a few open tabs crashed and said ' not enough memory to open the tabs, try closing some tabs or programs etc'.

just to say, i have 289 tabs open in google chrome at the moment...so just want to know what actions you should take when tabs crash like that? and what it basically means?

i've just got my computer back from repairs just to say.

Google tabs are a killer but you should be shutting down your machine each day.

@TheGentleGiant i'm alright now, i didn't listen to that audio but hoping you could explain why the chrome tabs crashed and gave that message? is it anything to be concerned about? i've just had my computer mended as i mentioned.
