is ccleaner safe to have on my computer

youtube pages are not loading properly on my win 7 desktop, i use chrome browser...so i thought if i download ccleaner and run it, will it be safe? it won't delete any of my personal media files or important files and documents?

please i need an answer to this, i'd appreciate any advice on it.

I wouldn't use it, it's probably cause it's an older windows and can't be updated any more
