The single PC would be flagship with over the top specs like Linux ZorinOS x86-64 + Windows 11 Pro (VM), Ryzen 9 9950X3D 16C/32T, Nvidia RTX 5090 OC (x2 GPUs), 256GB DDR5 ECC @ 6400MHZ, 64GB GDDR7 VRAM 512-Bit, 2TB M.2 NVME @ 8GBPS, 4TB 2.5" SATA SSD, 1500W Platinum PSU, ATX Motherboard + Desktop Tower, RGB AIO Liquid Cooler, 4K UHD 27" 360HZ MLED HDR GSync <1ms Curved (x2 Monitors), Ergonomic Wireless Keyboard, RGB Gaming Mouse, Bluetooth Surround Sound Speakers, Sony DualSense Gamepad, 4K UHD Webcam, Dedicated Studio Microphone, Sennheiser Openback Wired Headphones.

Meanwhile if I go for upper mid range PC and HEDT for seperate uses, the former would have Linux Mint x86-64, Ryzen 9 5900XT 12C/24T, AMD RX 7800 XT OC, 64GB DDR5 ECC @ 5600MHZ, 16GB GDDR6 VRAM 256-Bit, 1TB M.2 NVME @ 4GBPS, 2TB 2.5" SATA SSD, 750W Gold PSU, MicroATX Motherboard + Desktop Tower, RGB 140mm 1600RPM Cooling Fans, QHD 27" 240HZ OLED HDR FreeSync 5ms Curved, Ergonomic Wireless Keyboard + Mouse, Bluetooth ANC Headphones, FHD Webcam; the latter will have Linux RedHat x86-64, ThreadRipper 9000 Series (whenever that comes out) 96C/192T, Nvidia A-Series RTX NvLink (x4 GPUs), 1TB DDR5 ECC @ 6400MHZ, 256GB HBM3-E VRAM 512-Bit, 4TB M.2 NVME @ 8GBPS, 8TB 2.5" SATA SSD, 3000W Titanium PSU, HEDT Motherboard + Chassis, RGB AIO Liquid Cooler, 6K UHD 32" 120HZ OLED HDR 5ms Curved (x2 Monitors).

I guess it would be good if you can run both Linux and Windows on multiboot instead of VM, unless you need to use networking between the two or have to switch between them frequently. This way you might be able to exploit the system resources better..
