Working on stepfather's old pc.

He passed away a few years ago and i've been maintaining his PC since. He was a pilot in the navy so he loved his flight sims. Unfortunately, i have no real interest in those games. I'm upgradng it to be a bit more responsive to store copies of mom's medical records and such. I don't plan to have it connected to the internet much.

Added a newer graphics card, but its more of a side step. HD 7850 is still a bit better than a 750 ti. I had it in storage. Now I just need to switch the HD to an SDD and call it good.

@dale74Oh I know old systems can still run. I made a post some time ago about a dell laptop with windows 95 that works perfectly.

If you're just using it for medical records it would have been fine if it was 10 years older

@dale74 The HDD is really slow and I don't trust it to last much longer. The start up of the system is tediously slow as well.
