Can't Believe There Are Counterfeit Thermal Paste

I bought Arctic MX-4 (4g) thermal paste off Amazon from a third party seller called Aero Malls, but the shipping is fulfilled by Amazon. There were some reviews claiming that the thermal paste they got was counterfeit after scanning the QR code on the packaging. I then went into a deep dive and many people on Reddit, TechPowerUp, Tom's Hardware, and other forums complained about that issue. I can understand people making fakes of CPUs, GPUs, RAM, PSUs, SSDs, HDDs, etc., but to counterfeit thermal paste is a new low.

If it exists, there will be a counterfit made for it. Usually Amazon is good about this sort of stuff, and all you have to do is fill a feedback form for your order. The suppliers always spring into action, because they don't want to be banned by Amazon.

Thermal paste is pretty inexpensive though.
@Northwest yeah the MX-4 costs like 10 bucks after taxes, but I was charged shipping so I chose to have it delivered to an Amazon locker instead of my home
