Computer issue

I put unbuntu linux on a lap top for my mom. I made it as super secure as I could. My mom being 80 has been hacked more times then i can count on her windows computer. She hates passwords and its like pulling teeth to get her to use strong passwords for anything.
So she has comcast come over to fix a phone issue. The guy got on this linux computer, t think he was fishing for her financial info. He wiped wiped the computer to cover his crime and loaded windows 11.
Is there any way to reverse engineer what he did and bring back linux and ann my security protocols.

Linux for an 80 year old Mom? Why the hell are you doing that to her? Cuz its free?

These techs that work for Comcast don't know Linux, they don't know much other than to follow a flow chart to solve issues.

He likely told her he couldn't support her issue on Linux, but could support it on Windows.

Did you ask her if she gave permission to reimage her PC?

@SumKindaMunster i set up linux to make it idiot proof and stop all the hacking. Some one was remotely ligging into her windows computer every day.
The lap top had Nothing to do with the phone issue. I have written to comcast corporate. Im going to war.
