I am using a 30 inch TV for my computer monitor So ........

Why in the hell do I still have to wear my reading glasses?
The letter "A" is literally 2 inches tall.
I use a 24" monitor and my 40" Flatscreen.

@OldMan70 you can't send links or photos unless the recipient contacts you first.

How do you connect your computer to your TV to use your TV as a monitor and what software/app do you use on your computer to make that all happen?
Is your TV a "SMART TV"?

@OldMan70 There's another way that I use also as the cables are a pain!
Use Wireless HDMI
One of the easiest ways to use a TV as an extended monitor, no matter how far away the monitor is in the room, is by using a wireless transmitter and receiver kit. You can plug this small device into the HDMI port of your computer, and the other one into the HDMI port of your TV.

@Rooster THANKS.. That might work better for me instead of a cable running across the floor in the room for every one to trip over.

@OldMan70 There ya go! You can go into any Best Buy store and get those and they actually are pretty cheap and easy to set up!

Probably has to do with the resolution on the tv screen.
Dainbramadge · 51-55, M
@cherokeepatti You could be right.
It just seems, even if it's fuzzy, that a screen 4 times bigger than my old one would be easier to see. LOL

I run a 32" monitor with my Alienware and the graphics and such are pretty high resolution. I can reag these without my glasses any time. Maybe the 4K has the best resolution.

@Rooster I have 2 new GeForce cards in my machine at work. I run 6 screens. That makes my work so much easier! But those video cards are so expensive! Everything has gone sky high
Rooster · M
@TexChik That they have! Luckily, I have inside sources! LOL

@Rooster my IT guy is like that too . Even with his discount it cost $3100 installed . They have CPUs and 24 GIG of Ram . But they are seem-less

It's the distance from the screen - I find that I can make out the letter shapes, but after a while eyes get fatigued - so glasses it is...
fun4us2b · M
@Dainbramadge Now you'll need longer arms to reach the keyboard
Dainbramadge · 51-55, M
@fun4us2b I got the wireless keyboard and mouse the other day. :-)
fun4us2b · M
@Dainbramadge That'll work

I have two of along with a drawing tablet

Well just recently. I just replace the right monitor with a another 30 inch
Dainbramadge · 51-55, M
@LetsGoBrandon I am suffering pure envy right now.
Not only do you have two monitors that size but you have the roll top desk I was just looking for yesterday. :-)
I want a roll top desk.
