I Like Old Computers and Consoles

This Dell laptop was given to me from a friend who was doing some work for a church awhile ago. The church was going to toss it out, but my friend brought it to me.

It runs Windows '95 and works like it's brand new. The battery still holds a charge. It came with all instruction manuals, working charger, and original carrying case. It's almost as if it was frozen in time. I like to hook it up and look around from time to time. Sorry for the sideway pics.

That is impressive. I have a Mac of that vintage but sadly the LCD is starting to have issues.

@PicturesOfABetterTomorrow: That very common. I think the church used one to plan out sermons on it and very little else. It uses infrared/56k to connect to the internet which makes me assume it was in storage for awhile untouched after those connection methods became obsolete.
@JessicaMarie: Wow. That is going back down memory lane. My old Mac laptop was one of the ones featured in the 1994 movie Hackers. :)

As silly as that movie is I still love it lol
@JessicaMarie: Me too. Funny thing is it is now sort of more relevant and plausible in some ways because now you can actually do some of the things they did which was not possible back then. Hell it features hacks that are actually becoming an issue now 2 decades later. I also love the legit nods to hacker culture since I was really heavily influenced by that scene.
